getaway-with-god Getaway with God by Letitia Suck

Letitia invites women to chase the Intentional life. She writes and speaks of God’s renewal and restoration and offers platters of hope to women in each season of life. Tish is also a personal retreat guide and life coach in the Chicago area and moonlights as a hospital chaplain. You might run into her walking by Lake Michigan, browsing resale shops, or making up a new tradition. She blogs at hopeforthebest.org and is also the author of “Rhythms of Renewal.”

When I received this book as a part of a review with Litfuse, I knew right away that I would use this book in my book swap on Facebook. We started a BIBLE study section, where we would read a book like this or a bible study. We write in these books with all our prayers and things that we learn. I found that this book Getaway with God would be the perfect book for that. So I asked my husband to pick me up some new pens. You know the  multicolor packages that write nicely. (something I did not own) So as soon as he got home that night, I wrote out my first pray on the inside cover of the book.

I found that this book had a lot of information and ideas on how to just find time to be with God. Somethings are just common sense, but things that we as people do not always thing about. SO it was something I loved to be reminded about. I have been reading and writing my prayers in spots I could find. So the only thing I wished for this book was that it had a little more space to write, my thoughts and prayers.

I hope that whoever reads this book whomever it is and however they read it, that they find peace in the life they live. We are all have trials and tribulations at different times in our lives.
